ASOPEP is a coffee-growing association that has become known across Colombia and even the world for consistently producing high-quality coffees from some of the most rural areas in central and southern Colombia. Among the hundreds of organic farmers in their ranks is Jhon Edison Molano, a young coffee cultivator whose 6-hectare farm called El Diviso high up in the mountains surrounding Planadas, Tolima has been perfecting the art of producing naturals.
El Alto is a natural process Caturra and Colombia blend whose full body is punctuated by deep notes of wild berries, red wine and cocoa and whose fruity sweetness is accompanied by a sparkling acidity.
