During our last trip to Huila, we were invited by a friend to have lunch at a small restaurant at the renowned coffee town of Timaná. Little did we know, this was no ordinary lunch but rather an introduction to what would be one of the best coffees we have come across in recent memory.
As we ate our tamales, we are shown pictures of a beautiful farm that just happened to have the F6 variety. This was enough to make us jump from our seat and start the six and a half hour journey through some of the most rugged terrains in the country.
When we finally arrived, we were welcomed by Santiago Oviedo Rojas, the farm's owner, his wife and three of his six children. As soon as we arrived we were treated to a cup of this spectacular coffee and a new relationship was born.
We are excited to offer you this coffee from Mr. Rojas and his knowledge of over 40 years in cultivating some of Colombia's best beans.
