Located at the corner of Jay and York, the café boasts 20 ft. ceilings, expansive floor to ceiling windows, and an industrial backdrop of concrete floors and exposed piping. Natural light fills the space, balancing its raw architectural character.
Greenery remains a defining feature. Three 16 foot planters, crafted from solid Colombian pine sourced from naturally fallen trees, hang from steel chains overhead, hollowed to hold cascading jungle plants and native flowers. Custom solid wood paneling inspired by traditional Bogotá doors, made from Flormorado and Colombian white oak, frames the lounge, with cutouts revealing layered plant life.

You've been drinking months-old coffee, but Devocion is changing that. We source our beans directly from our network of independent coffee producers throughout Colombia, dry-mill them at our facility in Bogota, and quickly send them to our roaster in New York via FedEx. A few days later, the beans arrive in Brooklyn, to be freshly roasted and served as quickly as possible. We are the only company in the world that roasts true farm-fresh coffee only 10 days after leaving origin, lightyears quicker than the industry norm of 6-12 months.
