Our coffee beans are sourced from farms we hand-select within the vast untamed regions of Colombia's most inaccessible zones. These farms harvest coffee year round.
We develop relationships with coffee growers, paying above fair-trade prices and establishing social and environmental programs to help secure their futures.
The Freshest Coffee
Our beans are dry-milled in Bogota and shipped to the USA just 10 days after "green" for roasting. This means we can consistently guarantee newly-roasted, ultra-fresh coffee.

Yirgacheffe is an heirloom varietal from Ethiopia named after the region that is the birthplace of coffee as we know it. Farmers Juan Fernando Chica and Julio Madrid Tisnes are thought to be the only cultivators in Colombia to grow this variety, which is famously fragile and temperamental. Giving a tea-like body with floral jasmine, honeysuckle and cinnamon notes, La Leona is also fruity, with strong peach tones and a noticeable lime aftertaste, particularly as it cools. This very limited edition single estate is a wonderfully aromatic coffee, comparable to a Gesha.
