Our coffee beans are sourced from farms we hand-select within the vast untamed regions of Colombia's most inaccessible zones. These farms harvest coffee year round.
We develop relationships with coffee growers, paying above fair-trade prices and establishing social and environmental programs to help secure their futures.
The Freshest Coffee
Our beans are dry-milled in Bogota and shipped to the USA just 10 days after "green" for roasting. This means we can consistently guarantee newly-roasted, ultra-fresh coffee.
High up above Cañon de las Hermosas in Tolima lies a farm so remote that electricity and running water are difficult to come by. It is on this high-altitude farm that we have discovered a lot that produces a Tipica coffee which has the same distinctive red fruit tartness we have come to know as Red Barrel. With deeply acidic notes of cranberry, pomegranate, blackberry and a distinct lemongrass note, our Red Barrel has become a favorite pour over and one of our most sought-after single-estates.
