Downtown Brooklyn’s freshest Cup
You've been drinking months-old coffee, but Devoción is changing that. We source our beans directly from our network of independent coffee producers throughout Colombia, dry-mill them at our facility in Bogotá, and quickly send them to our roaster in New York vía FedEx. A few days later, the beans arrive in Brooklyn, to be freshly roasted and served as quickly as possible. We are the only company in the world that roasts true farm-fresh coffee only 10 days after leaving origin, lightyears quicker than the industry norm of 6-12 months.
A Unique Space
Located at the corner of Livingston and Bond, where Boerum Hill meets Downtown Brooklyn, the café boasts 18 foot floor to ceiling windows, which fill the space with all the natural light needed for the indoor tropical garden featuring more than 35 different plant species including enormous mango and ficus trees, as well as elegant fishtail palm and star fruit trees. Under the glade of the larger trees is a delightful mix of colorful smaller plants with beautiful bright foliage. Inspired by Colombia’s tropical rainforest, the garden’s evocative aesthetic is complemented by typical Colombian handmade cement tile flooring and white brick lined walls; both a reflection of a traditional Colombian finca (farm).
