Wush Wush is a rare and exquisite heirloom coffee variety that originates from the ancestral birthplace of coffee in Ethiopia. In Colombia, it remains exceptionally scarce, cultivated by only a handful of producers, among them Jorge Rojas.
Jorge has worked on his family’s farm, La Roca, since he was 12. Over the years, he has gained international recognition as a certified Q Processor for his experimental approach to fermentation and drying techniques, producing distinctive and refined coffees. He has also earned recognition from the Cup of Excellence in recent years. This double-fermentation washed Wush Wush highlights his precision and skill, offering a delicate yet expressive cup with notes of jammy Concord grape, raspberry liqueur richness, bright lemon drop acidity, and a soft floral finish.
