FLASH BREW ICED COFFEE

Flash brew is our go-to method for making iced coffee that’s vibrant, sweet, and ready in minutes. Unlike cold brew, flash brewing uses hot water to extract the coffee’s full flavor—then cools it instantly over ice.

INSTRUCTIONS

1

SET UP

Set up your pour over equipment as usual.

Tip:
For best results, grind your coffee just before brewing to preserve the flavors and aromas.
2

RINSE THE FILTER

Rinse your filter, add the 200g of ice into the server or cup.

Tip:
Don't forget to discard the water used for rinsing.
3

ADD THE COFFEE

Add the 40 grams of ground coffee into the rinsed filter.

4

BEGIN THE BREW

Begin brewing as normal, using concentric circles when pouring the hot water.

5

COMPLETE THE POUR

Aim to reach a similar total brew time as you usually do. Try to have all of your water poured by 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

Tip:
If you have a lot of unmelted ice after brewing, stir it around a bit to melt. Next time, you could try using a little bit less ice (but remember to increase the amount of hot water to replace it!) or smaller ice cubes.
