This blend represents the fruit of Devoción's labor in establishing our own coffee drying patio at 400 meters in Nilo, Cundinamarca. We source fresh cherries from 8 different farms in the 1500-1700 meter altitude slopes of Pueblo Nuevo, then transport them to the patio thirty minutes away. Nilo's microclimate makes it 40 ° F warmer on average than Pueblo Nuevo, making it the ideal temperature for a natural drying process.
El Nilo - Natural is the first blend we have produced at the facility, using a wide variety of Arabica varietals that grow in Pueblo Nuevo. With this new tool, we now have total control of the coffee production process, from the farm all the way to your cup.
