Wush Wush is an ancestrally African coffee that is extremely rare in the Western Hemisphere, and even more so in Colombia. One of the few producers to cultivate this varietal is Yeferson Olaya in his new farmed named El Pedregal. Olaya’s extensive training extends far beyond farm level into even cupping and roasting, meaning the management of his Wush Wush is all-encompassing, carefully tending to each phase in the process to ensure a perfect and world-class final product.
Olaya’s Wush Wush is an outstandingly exotic coffee, with a marked caramel sweetness, apricot and tangelo fruit notes, a roasted almond nuttiness and a slight ginger note.
