In our latest offering from farmers Farid Cuellar and Lorena Horta, we present Las Rosas, a striking Pink Borbón grown in Cundinamarca but whose seeds were acquired from the varietal's original home of southern Huila. Using their cultivation and processing skills, the pair have managed to bring out the very best in this washed single-estate, making it one of the very best coffees to come out of their farm in the decade or so we've been working with them.
Las Rosas is an exceptional Pink Borbón that expresses different note combinations depending on the extraction method, but whose predominant notes of rose, red apple and the nutty sweetness of nougat are consistent, making it a coffee that is outstanding across a range of preparation methods and at various temperature ranges.
